Tensegrity Living Unit

Critic: Eric Ellingson
Spring 2020 | Core Studio, Half-semester Project
St. Louis, MO

Focusing on the flexibility and the structure of tensegrity, the project forms a temporary residential unit for the customer who wants a space in a combination with both private and public. The usage of fabric instead of the cable to make the main tensegrity structure works, which also acts as a limbo between the private and public. When the sky glooms,  lights between the fabrics would on,  leaking through the fabrics and creating a cozy and unique atmosphere or the client.
