Computationally designed with the student team from Zhejiang University and facilitated by Dr. Mia Tedjosaputro. This parametric design was generated by using Rhino 3D and Grasshopper. After the 1:25 scale model prototypes, we tested out the structural difficulties that are possible to interface during the construction phase. We then mixed the research questions into the construction process where we explored the main structural system that comprises the hoops. Furthermore, we designed the enclosure by weaving the wood strips together, as a cultural reflection of the contextural history.
